My name is Jeff Bohm and have lived in St. Clair for over 50 years. My family moved to St. Clair when I was 4 years old. I am the youngest of 6 children in my family.
I attended the East China School District and graduated from St. Clair High School in 1986. I was always very active in sports and earned a baseball scholarship to Central Michigan University. At CMU I majored in Physical Education and minored in Health. After I got out of College in 1991, I decided to return home to St. Clair and pursue a career in the Fitness Industry. I started my own business in the fall of 1992 and have been in business ever since. Today, I am the owner of Viking Fitness Centers in St. Clair and Marysville.
While I was at college I met my wife, Carrie. We have 2 children Jessica and Christina who both attended the East China School System. My wife Carrie has been employed in the Utica school system as a middle school counselor for over 30 years.
In 2004 I was elected to the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners and have served in many different capacities. For the first 6 years of my serving on the county board, I was the chair of the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee. Most recently, I have been the County Board Chairman as elected by my peers. I look forward to continuing to serve you.
